Hello, I grew up with horses and still have horses today. Horses have been and are still a big part of our family's life. I have been transporting horses since the early 90s and have been a farrier for over 25 years in Southern Pines, NC. When transporting your horse we make stops every 3 to 4 hours to water, hay and let your horse rest a bit. Owner must have a hard copy of a current Coggins and Health Certificate at the pickup location with their horse. The horse owner is to supply one bale of hay for each horse. We do not like to change the diet of your horse during the trip. We transport with a Exiss 4 horse aluminum slant load trailer. If we are transporting less than 3 horses we may use a Equi-Spirit / Hawk 2 horse straight load trailer. We have a Monitor in the truck with Cameras in the trailers to keep an eye on your horse during their trip. Our insurance does not cover the horses we transport. That is the responsibility of the horse owner. If your horse or horses will not load after 1 hour upon our arrival the trip will be cancelled and you will be charged the full price that was quoted for the trip. This is due to traveling long distances just to find the horse will not load or has never been in a trailer. This also applies if the horse owner does not have a current Health Certificate and Coggins at the pickup location with their horse. We do our best to get your horse to its destination as quickly and safely as possible. References are available upon request. Please contact me if you have any questions.
