Layla Bint Mona AHA 496721 1993 Grey Mare Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa, and Blue List eligible. Daughter of AK Sherecho, bred by Bentwood Farms, and of the Golden cross that made Ansata world famous- *Ansata Ibn Halima blood crossed with Morafic. AK Sherecho is son of the world famous Ansata El Sherif and grandson of the immortal *Ansata Ibn Halima. AK Sherecho’s dam is the genetically prepotent LR Bint Faarecho, a daughter of *Ibn Moniet El Nefous, combined with Babson blood, and Sirecho. It is the blood of Sirecho's (Nasr x Exochorda), that goes on to produce AK Latifa, who would go on to produce not one, but FOUR Israeli National Champion horses. It is Ak Latifa's son, Laheeb (Imperial Imdal), who has spread the influence of Sireacho all over the world. But the pedigree doesn't stop there... Layla Bint Mona is daughter of Mona Bint Layla, bred by Jarrel Mc Cracken, sired by Moniet El Sharaf, the multi-champion and highest syndicated Straight Egyptian stallion to date, and out of AK Bint Layla, by The Egyptian Prince. The Egyptian Prince, bred by Douglas Marshall, was syndicated in 1989 for $4 million. He was himself unshown, but the sire of multi national champions with 829 purebred foals sired. Layla Bint's tail female is to BINT EL BAHREIN, thru the Chestnut Roan imported mare *Azzar, she is of the family of Zareefa (grand dam of *Bint Maisa el Saghira). 100% Bentwood breeding including 10 lines to Medallela, an important broodmare of her time, dam of Wanisa, the dam of Moniet El Nefous. This mare is tall (15 hands), substantially built with a level topline, long hip, long neck, and HUGE dark poppy eyes.
