Okay folks, here he is! P.D. Quick, also known to us as “Petey” is a gorgeous Grey Tobiano gelding with a beautiful SILVER mane and tail! His coloring is hard to describe and does not show up “true“ in photos…he is just gorgeous and his spots appear silver blue most days and dove grey in the winter! He is very handsome and very unique! He is 4 years old, broke to ride in every way, gentle, and has been ridden by riders of all ages. He is a superior trained gelding with perfect manners, both on the ground and in the saddle. Riding him is easy…responds to simple voice commands. Backs readily and he neck reins like a champ! He has an amazing soft, controlled canter. He will even “step up” on an obstacle with by just asking him to “step up”…you can see him in the photo showing off by stepping up on the tree stump! He has been ridden by riders of all skill levels and varying ages and is responsive to each riders needs! A stout-built and well-muscled, 14.3-15h boy…”Petey” is a good-sized gelding with enough stock to him that he can easily carry a good sized man, however, with his soft eye and gentle, willing nature…he is perfect for nearly anyone…even a confident child with basic riding skills can handle him! He is the cadillac of trail mounts and everyone loves him. He is content to walk along all day and enjoy a relaxing, scenic trail ride, or he will shift effortlessly into his natural and smooth saddle gait when asked, and can easily transition into a wonderful, soft, easy canter! He is easy to ride…no gimmicks…all natural and VERY nice. He would be a lot of fun for someone to show-off at local club fun shows as his training is so versatile! He has been thru water, deep in the woods, down the road-side, with dogs, other livestock and thru very rough terrain…always willing and ready to go again…he will carry you anywhere you want to go! Stands still to mount and dismount. Loads/Unloads and trailers well. Ties, clips, grooms, and bathes, stands for the farrier. Petey is a superior trail mount…experienced and safe…”Same every time” sort of guy! He may just be one of the most well-trained trail mounts you will ever ride!
