Strawberry Boone, He's 16HH 1276 lbs and is a BIG red Dun with Jerusalem cross and leg bars. He's a big dorky one person mule that is virtually theft proof. He will not let a stranger catch him or ride him. Once you are his person, that's it, he will do absolutely ANYTHING for you. He's a total baby and want's nothing more then to please. He easily jumps 4 feet standing flat footed, can be ridden English or Western, he crossed bridges, water, rivers, logs, will ease his way down a slippery muddy trail by nature, But bomb right down it if you push him. He's been used on a couple of hunts now as a saddle mount but is too tall to pack, so other then playing around with empty bag flopping around on his sides, he's not really been packed on. He's spent the last year being ridden by a green rider who has other mules that he can ride and pack, and so because of Boones height is the first to go. Boone would make and excellent dressage mule, or HUS, or Pleasure Mount. I would not recommend this guy live in a boarding facility, in a stall all the time except to just come out and ride a rail... I think he would get bored and develop behavior problems. Prior Mule experience would be a good idea as Mules are not entirely like horses and have a little different training & social interaction needs to be their best and trained & trusting in the most effective manner.
